We (Jennifer and the adult children Felix (20 years) and Kevin (18 years)) bought Sandebo in October 2014, and will now take over and move here my mom (who is retiring) operations with vegetables, and that we are building a small-scale slaughterhouse for rabbits and poultry. As we are new on the farm, there is work in virtually all areas of construction, plumbing, electricity, forest, it should be done cultivation beds, greenhouse be erected, put fences, forest land will be cleared for grazing, animal care then we breed sheep, goats , rabbits and chickens. The sheep and goats will in the summer be milked by hand. The disadvantage or advantage of staying with us is that the accommodation is very old-fashioned, showering and washing yourself in what we call the brewhouse with wood-fired hot water. Wood stoves are available to cook and keep warm with. One can live in their own really old house with 3 rooms and kitchen, outhouse or stay with us in their own room. We would prefer that we eat together for well-being. Special diets are usually not a problem. Are you interested in crafts, so here are wool, vegetable dyes, smithy, carpentry shop, leather processing to try on free time. Our farm is located at the wetlands with cranes, geese and swans visit all year round, many raptors such as eagles nest here. Endless forests just around the corner but still close to the urban area. Mörtelek is a very active village with only permanent residents who engage in carpentry, agriculture, a family making whiskey barrels, etc.
