Åvinge is a small scale farm where we work only full time in the summer. We have a small group of meet cows and grow food for them at the fields. Last summer we started growing vegetables (beans, tomatoes, zuccini, etc), mostly for our own use. We have ducks that stroll around the houses, a cat, and on the farm is also horses (not ours).
The farm is close to Stockholm, and wwoofers could easily go there by bus or with us in the car to nearest train station. 30 min walk away through the forest is a little lake for swimming. And there is lots of beautful nature to discover in the area.
We need help whith lots of different things, like watering, weeding and picking vegetables, taking care of the animals, bringing in hay, painting, picking berries and cutting down bushes around the trees in the forest. This is our first year we take wwoofers and we will not have any routine for how things will be like, so it's good if you can take own initiatives, or have some experience in farming (but not necessary).
We have two small cottages (with only one room) and one room in our house, where woofers could stay.
We are a family of four, whith two grown up children. All of us study or work full/part time with non-agricultural things and two of us only live at the farm on holidays. On the farm lives also a young couple, a man that helps out with the cows, and three dogs.
