Family: We are 50 and 52 years old. We have four children. . One is still living with us, the other have moved out.
The farm: Our farm is located just 1 km from a small village. There is bus- and train-station. In the other way we have a highway (E6) about 1 km away. We have 21 ha field where we grow wheat and rye to become flour for the farm shop, rape to the oil and grass to feed our cows with. There is also 20 ha wood just 500 m from the house. About 20 cows and calves for meat. We grow vegetables for self-sufficient.
Accommodation: We have a small wooden house about 300 m from our house for you to live in. There is water on the outside. Electricity, sink, refrigerator and a small cooker inside.
It is an outdoor compost-toilet. You can use the shower in our house
Food: We eat usually vegetarian food, mostly from the garden. But some days even meat and fish.
Work: There are a lot of things we need help with. We’ll try to find different work both out and inside. There are a lot of things that need to be done. The oil must be bottled and packed. We deliver to different places. It is work with the vegetables. Painting.
We expect you to work about five hours a day. You can work more time some days and be free whole days if you want to look around in the area.
