This little farm is located in Tiveden (southnärke) near to Laxå and the naturereservate Vargavidderna (Wolf distances), Gryten, a picturesquely situated lake with opportunities to walk and grill. You can borrow a bike and discover the surroundings and the lakes.
The goal is to grow as much of the housholds food as possible, and we already cultivated a part of the meadow. Beeing alone on the farm this year, I hope to get your help with some things. There is always a lot to do. For example, we are going to do the following works this year:
GARDEN / ANIMALS
• creating gardenbeds
• set dry-stone-wall
• to take hand on the gardenbeds (weeds, watering, etc.)
• use appropriate soil additives
• to plant fruit trees and bushes
• to shred branches (for routes and / or raised beds)
• to hay (including peening and sharpening / alternative brush cutter)
• to feed the animals (chickens at present)
• to clean the stables
• to create a new fence
CONSTRUCTION / RENOVATION
• to build fences
• to replace the wooden front of the house
• to paint with Swedish Rödfärg
• to raise drainage • to build a vegetable purification plant (in july)
• to set a tin roof on the old earthcellar

• Guest House 1: double bed (for couples or individuals)
• Hostel 2: Single bed (and possibly extra bed)

You help a five hours a day - no work on Sundays. Two small guesthouses are available for you. In the "blåa stugan" there is a double bed and in the "röda stugan" a single bed (second spare bed possible). Both guesthouses have a power supply but no running water, you will get an instant 10-liter canister. We cook and eat together in the house, where there is also a shower, but we prefer in the summer the watering-can-shower outside. There is no watertoilet, but a refurbished composting toilette. You can use the wifi on request and also hire a computer.
Der Hof liegt im Tiveden (Südnärke) in der Nähe von Laxå mit Nähe zum Naturreservat Vargavidderna (Wolfsweiten) und Gryten, einem malerisch gelegenen Angelsee mit Möglichkeit zum Wandern und Grillen. Ihr könnt Euch ein Fahrrad leihen und die Umgebung und die Badeseen erkunden.
Das Ziel ist es, einen Großteil der Lebensmittel selbst anzubauen, und dazu haben wir einen Teil der Wiese urbar gemacht. Weitere Anbauflächen sollen folgen.
Es gibt immer jede Menge zu tun. Beispielsweise in diesem Jahr:

Zwei kleine Gästehäuser stehen unseren Wwoofern zur Verfügung. Da ist in der „blåa stuga“ ein Doppelbett und in der „röda stuga“ ein Einzelbett (zweites Notbett möglich). Beide Stugas haben einen Stromanschluß jedoch kein fließendes Wasser; Ihr bekommt einen 10-l-Wasserkanister. Wir kochen und essen gemeinsam im Wohnhaus, wo sich auch eine Dusche befindet, jedoch ist im Sommer die Gießkannendusche draußen schöner. Eine Wassertoilette gibt es nicht, dafür aber ein sauber renoviertes Plumpsklo. Ihr könnt nach Absprache das drahtlose Internet benutzen.
