We are Madeleine and Martin and our family also inclodes four boys that have all left home, one cat and some hens. We eat vegetarian food and fish some times.
We have a long experience of organic growing but started this farm 2007. The farm is 6 ha from which 4 ha is cultivated including two greenhouses together 800 m2. When season is running, around may - october, we have very busy days and we work hard! In the early summer there is sowing, planting and holding the weeds back. Later on there will be more and more harvest and a lot of customers coming to buy berries, vegetables and potatoes.So we are sure that you can get a lot of knowledge about organic farming.
The farm is placed close to the main road between Örebro and Falun but although in the middle of beautiful Bergslagen with possibility to wandering in the forest and go canoeing.
Woofers are welcome to us this summer from early May till the end of September. We can have one or two staying with us in the same time.
There is one room in our house and a caravan. Of course you´ll eat with us and be a part of the family. We appreciate that you work with us six hours five days a week. It´s fine if you stay with us at least two weeks.
