Our goal at Edhegård is to live as self-sufficiently as possible and provide for ourselves and our animals the most natural environment we can. We are a Christian family and are alcohol, tobacco and drug free and are set up for single WWOOF-ers. The nature around us is beautiful at every time of year. We have forests for hiking, berry-picking and timber work, lakes for swimming, boating and fishing and ski hills for skiing and snowboarding. There is a large ecological garden on the farm in which we grow vegetables that we store for the winter in our root cellar. We also have a large potato and strawberry field. Beautiful cheese and butter come from our own dairy and an on-site wood-fired stone oven is used to produce traditional crisp and soft breads in our bakery. In the winter we do our family cooking and baking on a woodstove in the main house. We welcome all WWOOF-ers as a part of our home and family!
