We are a new community and the farm is still in an early stage of development. Our plans for autumn 2011 to early spring 2012 is to put up fence around the grassland by the lake, build a greenhouse, a sauna, clearing in the woods and take care of firewood, prepare land for cultivation, among other things. Three of the four residents still have full-time work outside the farm as it is not yet producing any incomes.
Our vision is to:
- work less outside the farm
- become partially self sufficient
- have more residents on the farm
- earn our living through a wide diversity of activities
- build resilience through cooperation within the community
- ... and much more.
Practical information:
There are altogether three small houses. We live in two, and plan to uses the third as a community house for workshops etc. All houses have electricity, heating, fully equipped kitchens, WC & showers. Depending on how many guests and wwoofers are staying, it may be possible to have a private room, or neccessary to share with others.
