Our names are Petra and Henrik. We bought this farm in Roslagen during the fall of 2009, since then I, Petra, have been home to look after the farm while Henrik is working in Stockholm. We have five Border collies, 3 cats, 20 hens, a couple of peacocks, about 50 sheeps. The farm is situated next to a lake where you can fish. There isn’t a very good bus service here, but we have bikes to lend.
We are working on building a new barn for the sheeps, we want to organize an organic vegetable garden and then a farm shop selling everything that the farm can contribute. Help that we also may need can be forestry work, splitting firewoods, construction, repairing stuff, painting, fencing, etc. For accommodation, there is a small house in the courtyard with two charming rooms with kitchen and a bathroom. We pay for the meal but you have to cook it yourself as we don’t have any fixed schedule for meals. You have to share the place with a cat.
We are looking for woofers all year around. We need strong people with driving license in mid. June and July during the harvest. Our hobbies are spending time with the dogs and wool-working.
Two woofers can work here at the same time.
