Welcome to Rökstadtorpet

We live 13 kilometer outside of Söderköping in a beautiful landscape with hills, forest and open landscape. If you go to the backside of our house and look carefully you will se two houses 500 m away but no more. Our family is Me Korp (33), my husband Robert (29) and our children Ylva (8) and Vide (5)

On our farm you will take care of animals, milk cows and goats, make cheese, do slaughter, drive horsewaggon and timber slade, build things, breed crops for eating, clean stables, cut wood for winter etc etc.

We try to be as self sufficcient as possible. Today we eat only selfslaughtered meat and our own milkproducts as cheese, youghurt etc. We also grow vegetables. Our thinking of self sufficiency is also much about not needing much money and not consuming of our earths resources. We make most things our selves. Except for food we make soap for cleaning ourselfes, the floor and other things, we sew clothes, do handicrafts of different kind, textile, woodwork etc.
All wood for heating and warm water is from our own forest and pulled home with our horse.

We allow no drugs or smoking.
