How long to wait for a response

I am new to WWOOFing and so I was curious what the appropriate amount of time would be to wait after contacting a host before contacting a second host. If no one has responded in over a week, should I be looking for other options?

Hi Mathias,
Sometimes emails go astray, ends up in the trashmail or disappears of one or another reason. Is it possible for you to give the hosts a short call on their phone? Have a look at the time difference between your country and Sweden so you don't call them in the middle of the night..
