Small farm with sheep, hens, horses,fruit, berries and vegetables for the household. We are self-sufficient of potatoes, most vegetables, and hay for the sheep. We have plans to start selling vegetables and herbs in a small scale this year.
We eat mostly vegetarian food + fish. We have a big dog, a cat and two children, 6 and 3 years old. We are making more pastures out of forest land and building traditional wooden fences. We live in a house from the 19th century which we are renovating. We live nearby a lake and have a small rowing boat.
Frida work as a journalist and David as a teacher, we do not work fulltime, but if you want to stay with us you have to be prepered to work alone some days.
Normaly we do not take moore then one wwoofer at time, and not for longer periods then one mounth, but you can always ask.
As a wwoofer we want you to be interested in farmwork, gardening and animals. It is good if you have some experience from working with your hands, if not its good if youre enthusiastic and interested in learning new things about us, our way of life and yourself. We accept wwoofers during may-september. If you have experiences from construktionwork, horses and outher farmwork we might have a place for you in oktober and mars/april as well.
