It is new surroundings around the houses. It is gardening and fencing. And a lot of work with the hands and hand-tools. We use wood for warm-water so always also some kind of wood-cutting. We also from now use the sun enery in the soil.

We need two or maybe three wwoofers/helpers. Best a couple but not necessary. And because of the job there will be also much to do inside the house/s.

For your help we give you also all the knowledge we have (if you ask). Living, eating, working, amusement, life of this village and region is a part of our culture. Your stay will be as a family-member.

For many years before the idea of permaculture existed we lived like that. We can easily go back to it but we do not live like that now because we like coffee and tea and things like that.

Now and then a guy will be here filming. He is making a documentary film. But life just goes on.)

Here are our most important rules or culture. If weather gives the possibility for work we all work.

During the summer-period there is no free-time scheduled. Seeds must be planted, weed must be taken up, harvest must be done, wood must be chopped, house must be painted, building must be done, animals must be taken care of. These are things which not can be waited to do next day. We must follow nature and climate. Some days will therefore be very long. And everything is very intensive here. Sun never goes down. No dusk. No dawn.

Winter we have six months of the year.

During winterperiod it can be difficult to find job which shall be done. It can be too cold or too much snow outside. But some days and some weeks even during the winter there will be some job. And if you are here at that time it will be time of work outside and then also house-hold work inside.

So this is not a relaxing place where one only can listen to the Silence and maybe watch the Northern Lights.

This is a small ecological farm. Our cattle living outside year around most time in the forest. Winter 6 months of year. Winter starts in October/November. Extremely short spring. My farm has no possibilities to pay money to wwoofer/helpers.

This is a meat-eating region. It is the arctic. Trying to mostly use products which can grow here. This is the North. We eat very much vegetables in the autumn. But if you are vegan or vegetarian or think you want to have time for relaxing and holiday days here. Do not ask to come. And smoking is not good.

Our basic food is our local ecological food. So we eat all of the meat when we have meat. And we eat fishes from the aelv. Mushrooms and vegetables. And we try to buy and eat local food if we do not have it ourselves. And if it something in our food you do not like or will not try it - you do not need to ask to come here.

Because there are very few vegetables and very few animals which we humans eat. The reason we eat them is their species way of survive. It is their method for their race to live in the future. They have in this way "chosen" to give some of their lives to us so then we take care of the rest and give them food and become slaves of them and make it possible for them to spread out and survive. Therefore I have nothing in common with food-industry of any kind nor vegans or vegetarians.

When musicians can play the same song at the same time all over the world there is hope.

Ruminants, animals with four stomachs, specializing in converting nutrient poor, feed grain of grass type, to high quality food for humans in the form of meat and milk. Typically, those animals are fed with feedingstuffs, type soybeans and barley, which directly and indirectly, have a devastating effect on the abundance of wildlife that are destroyed and which also contribute to global warming. Such meat should nobody eat. My animals gets only food that is natural for them, like grass, wild herbs and leaf, and which they are adapted to. Our meat is very suitable to eat.

Methane gas from ruminants is a very big part (25%) in the up heating and collapse of this planet. My animals are just eating grass. No serials or soybeans or any other strange products of any sort compared to their kind they get. My animals are breed and live under the best possible conditions which are possible to the animals themselves and to the climate changing process. Of that reason I am just economically concretely surviving of this type of farming and living. I will try to do what I can do of stopping the climate changes.

Forest: Some part of the forest is very unique. We have the animals in the forest for eating the vegetables of that type of eco-system. In Swedish it is called "skogsbete". It has only existed in Sweden and never in rest of Europe the last 1000 years. It is classificated by the Authorities of Swedish government. This kind of farming ended during the 1930-ies. It still exist in more places in Sweden but this is the only place in north part of Sweden and therefore the only place on this earth. To have this type of forest and animals in the forest it is one of few possibilities for surviving in the future. (Now mankind is eating up and destroying the soil on this planet).

The last years it has been very many helpers/wwoofers here the whole year around. Most of them very nice and helpful.

I have got problems with my shoulders and sometimes also with my right knee. I can not work as hard and as much as before. So we do not know if we next year will have any helpers. So how it will be I do not know.

We have wild animals here as beavers, lynx, bears, deers, elks (In North America they name elk moose. Because when white people first came they called big deers elks and then when they met the elks name was occupied and so they took the indian name for elk (moose)), ravens, fox, hawks, eagles and more.

Fishing is perfect in lven (kind of a river - English word is aelv). Good fishes for eating.

From April to October it is not so much snow here. It is a kind of summer period. And it easier for me to find jobs which can be done if you do not have any special skills needed just at that time.

Winter is from November to April. Most of the time it is very dark, even if the moon, the stars and the snow is shining. It is much snow and it can be very cold.

During the winterperiod it can be very isolated here. Because it is very hard when it is blackdark during the day and just some moon in the night. It is hard to find jobs to be done outside. Because of the coldness or too much snow. It is more house-keeping jobs during this period. And it is much more of social communication with few persons.

Housekeeping and housecleaning is also jobs which must be done. So this is jobs which must be done daily and weekly the whole year around. The garden, forest and the animals is made for what we can do here. It is not planned for any help. Of course there is always in the not snowing period things which one can do.

I have insurance, since 20 years, for helpers for eventually bad accidents in their help of my farm. This insurance is valid for all kinds of help and for all persons here wherever they are coming from on this planet. It is you who are responsible to ask for information if you are insecure if you do not know how to do some jobs I think you can do. Tractors, animals, buildings, machines etcetera can be very dangerous if one make bad mistakes because one is missing knowledge.

But it is also good to take your own insurance when you travel around helping people.
