Welcome to Shambala Gatherings; a small community that loves to hold a beautiful space for events and workshops to happen on subjects such as yoga and meditation, healing arts, painting, horse riding and other subjects related to staying in communion with nature and being creative.
We are situated 2 hours away from Stockholm, in the middle of the Swedish forest, by a still lake.
The kitchen is the heart of the community. We love food!
Vegetarian and vegan, mostly organic food. We also love chocolate!
We are looking for enthusiastic and inspiring people of +25 years of age who love to work as a team and ideally, people we are interested in Yoga or in the Yogic way of life.
We are especially interested in people who love to cook and have experience serving large numbers of people. Cooks that can hold themselves with confidence in the kitchen and can guide others.
We also need people who love gardening, who are interested in sustainability and seeing things grow. Who already have some experience growing a small garden somewhere for your own consumption.
Other than that, we need people who see the pleasure in cleaning and love to use their creativity in beautifying the environment and see it as an opportunity to serve others with love.
Finally we need creatives who would love to take pictures and videos of our retreats and volunteers who would like to take care of the whole volunuteer group (maximum 5 people including leaders), making sure that they feel at home and supported during their stay here.
We are only open during the European Summers. From mid May to mid September.
