Välkommen till Hästekasen

Building up a farm and a retreat center (yoga, diving, outdoor activities). Small scale farming and a few animals. At times lots of building going on. Time for talks, walks, cooking and outdoor activities. But no room for laziness or clumsiness ;-)
In need of persons that not only like cooking, but are good at it, and like experimenting with wild and homegrown stuff.
Hästekasen will specially like wwoofers that like building stuff.
There is a great interest in permaculture as an approach to nature.
We are in need of visitors that inspire and share knowledge. Maybe people that wants to have independent projects: building something, growing something (we have more land than we can plant on). Maybe returning year after year seeing things develop. You will no doubt be inspired yourself.
This is experimental. Trial and error.
6 hour efficient workdays outside.

At the end of a dirt road, very quiet, lots of nature.
15 km to civilization, shops and buses. 15 km to Lysekil, summer marine activity town.

SUMMER 2012
June - planting, boat launch, seaweed gathering. Building, paint
July-august - lots of courses (tents for woofers, priority to those that has been here before).
Sept -Oct - Harvest, honeywork, fruittrees, mushroms
Oct- now -plowing, spreading manure, slaughter

SPECIAL Woofweek midsummer in sweden June 19-28th we aim at 20 people or more hanging out for week (12 beds so some people should expect tent and outhouse loo). During this week we hope to paint the house.
