Välkommen till Löwensberg

Löwensberg is a clearing in the forest with a small house and some small farm buildings - no neighbours in sight. There is about 2 hectares of open land and we are slowly building up subsistance farming and in the future maybe some surplus for sale. We do seasons work. We have completed a stone garden terrass, installed a wood based heating system and we have had the bathroom remade. We need help in spring mainly with wood and getting the garden started. In july there are different types of work including some berry picking and august and september is harvesting and conserving season. Work with wood goes on all the time a little. We are starting some tourism (se www.lowensberg.se) this summer in very small scale, so there may be tasks in connection to this.

We are engaged in the biodynamic movement - Hans works with agriculture advice, rural development, and in a project to save the Baltic Sea (www.beras.eu) and in local politics. Birgitta left her former work in social pedagogics to give more time to the farm. The subsistance farming has so far been a hobby, but will be a little more than that now. Our children (born 1988 and 89) have both moved away from home.

The nearest village is Järna (9 km), where there is an anthroposophic center
nearby (16 km). Stockholm is 60 km away.
