Orranäs Gårdsmejeri is a small farm with diaryporoduction. We produce cheese in an old traditional way. The milk comes from our 60 goats. We also by ecologic cowmilk from a neighbour farm.
Beside the cheeseproduktion we have horses. People can rent box in our stable for their horses. Today we have 7 horses in the stable.
We cultivate and harvest hay for feeding all animals.
The farm is situated at the south-east coast, one of the most beautiful parts of Sweden
At our farm we need help with the following tasks:
• Dairy production
o Packaging of fresh cheese
o Casing and turning cheese
o Washing up and other hygiene duties
• Feeding and caring for goats, horses, dogs and cats
o Cleaning stables
o Moving of male goats between pastures
o Exercise dogs and cats
• Fencing
• Gardening
o Caring of roses
o Arrangement, sowing and caring of a garden bed
o Lawn mowing by ride-on mower
o Weed cleaning
• Pruning brush-wood
